Our Story
At Press Pause, we have two missions. The first is to distribute easily accessible resources to help guide individuals through their mental health journey. The second is to help mental health organizations reach their full potential through human-centred design.
Press Pause was born out of passion.
Taylor Jackson began Press Pause as a third year Bachelor of Design student at Conestoga College. She took the opportunity of a free project to design something that would take her and her peers away from the clutter and noise of the online space and focus fully on their mental health. Working with entrepreneurship collectives and mental healthcare professionals, we designed accessible wellness tools, backed by research, that use human-centred design principles.
